DAMS - Deposit Accounting Management System
Banks float different deposit schemes to cater to the general public needs and changing market   situations. These   schemes  have  benefits  and  rules  attached  as  per  the guidelines issued by the RBI/IBA.

DAMS  is  a  solution  that  enables  a bank to take care of their term deposit schemes. Functionality of the package includes Floating of New Deposit Scheme,  Maintenance of Client  Information,  Accounting  Operations,  Interest  Calculations,  Tax   Deduction at source as per given parameters, Closure of Accounts, Renewal of Accounts, Transfer of Accounts,  Lien  Noting  and  Cancellation etc. This solution is currently implemented at the Union Bank of India.

IBAR - Inter Branch Accounts Reconciliation System
Large banks face certain issues regarding Inter Branch Reconciliation exercise. The IBAR package was developed to identify  possible frauds and ensure  timely completion of the entire process of reconciliation.

The  package  is  suited for any of the three types of organizations - Centralized, Partly De-Centralized  and  Fully  De-Centralized.  It  is  currently  implemented  at  Dena Bank (India).

DDR - Demand Draft Reconciliation
Reserve  Bank  of  India  has  instructed Banks to ensure strict reconciliation norms and reduction  of  NPA on Other Assets. In order to reduce the load on  IBAR and effectively monitor  the  reconciliation  process,  Banks  have  started  segregating  Demand  Draft Reconciliation from IBAR. We  have developed  a ready made product for Demand Drafts Reconciliation system, which is running live in a  nationalized  Bank all-over the country. This software is implementable in two phases, one for  data collection and the other for data management. These modules can be  implemented  in  accordance  with the Bank's needs.

WARPS - Warrants Processing System
Banks  in  India  offer various types of facilities to the  Corporate Clients, who come out with instruments to benefit their investors. The system on hand caters to the functions of  monitoring  the  physical  and accounting entries of these  instruments presented by the investors, at various centres. Tracking  the  transit of these  instruments and finally lodging at the payee centre with reconciliation of paid and unpaid  instruments form the major part of the application.
This  product  has been developed primarily for Dena Bank  (a nationalized Bank in India) and implemented at their various Service Branches and Nodal Branches who operate the centralized corporate accounts in different cities.

Demand Drafts Payable System (DDPS)
Demand Drafts are paid at the Service Branches of large  Banks at various centres. The software is aimed to help  these  Service  Branches in proper  accounting, payment and data transfer to  their respective  Reconciliation  Departments. This solution is currently implemented at Dena Bank (India).

Collection of Instruments System (COINS)
Upcountry  Branches  of  a  Large  Bank send the instruments on collection basis to the Service  Branches  at  respective  centre. The software herein discussed will  assist the Service Branches in receiving them, sending  them  under  clearing,  accounting  for the returns, sending credit advices  to the  originating  branches, queries on the same. This solution is currently implemented at Dena Bank

Balance Sheet Package
This package helps banks  in  India  in consolidating  the balance sheet details  received from various branches and administrative offices as on 31st March and 30th September, every year.  Critical  decisions  as  to  provision  for bad debts, profitability figures, and investment  patterns  are  taken  based  on  the balance  sheet  figures. The  software provides a support system  through  amalgamation  of   branch  figures  and  generating reports  on  various  parameters.  Changes  made  in  the   figures   based  on  auditors' requirements  and  other  specifications of the Bank are monitored and kept up  as audit trail. This product is  implemented at  Dena  Bank (a nationalized Bank in India)  at their Accounts Department, Head Office, Mumbai.

Social Banking Department
The  government  expects  banks  to  ensure  that at least 40% of their total  non-food credit  reaches the socially  needy  sectors  at   concessional  interest  and  repayment terms. Schemes are drawn at apex levels and agencies  for  effective  absorption of the funds given loans and advances and for their utility  in economic upliftment of the poor. The schemes  and  plans drawn  are monitored  against the actual  implementation. The system on hand does exactly this function. It also caters to the credit appraisal part of large proposals under priority sectors, which come under the purview of the Head Office executives. This is implemented in Social Banking Department of a nationalized Bank.

Inspection Monitoring
Banks plan their Inspection Schedules at the beginning of the year, taking  into account the number of branches, size, and other features. Internal auditors would  inspect many branches.  However,  there  may  certain  branches  taken up for concurrent audit  and some   more   to  be   audited  by   external   firms. The  Inspection   program  and   its implementation  is   monitored   by  this  system. This  is  running  live in Bank of Baroda (India), in all their Zonal Inspection Centres.

CCIS - Comprehensive Credit Information System
CCIS  is  a  comprehensive database on the borrowers of a bank. All inputs from various sources on the data elements kept in the database are taken in through electronic data transfer. Information systems to cater to  various levels of  authorities  are  tailor made from the central database. This covers the information needs of the Ministry of Finance, Reserve Bank of India and the Bank. This package has been developed for Bank of India. The product has two modules, viz., the Head Office Module and the Branch Module. The Head Office Module was developed on Sybase  back-end with APT whereas  the  Branch Module was developed under COBOL to capture data from Branches.


Business Solutions for Bombay Stock Exchange                                          

Safe Custody and Dividend Distribution System
This package maintains the depository and custodian  operations  for stock brokers  in a Bank,  which  acts  as  the  depository  for  Bombay  Stock   Exchange. The software is expected  to  take  care  of  data  warehousing  requirements of approximately 5 million records. The  search  and match  mechanism is to handle about 50000 records amongst the 5  million  records  on  a  daily basis. This  system  is  developed  for  Bank of India, Mumbai Main Branch.

Collaterals Management System
This  package  manages   the  margins  to  be  maintained  by  the clearing members of the  stock  exchanges. The  software  is  expected  to take care of all types of margins depending  on  the  type of  trade. The on-line monitoring  feature  provides  the  extra feature to the software. This is to be taken up for BOI ShareHolding Limited.

Dematerialized scrips trading system
As  per  the  norms  of  SEBI,  Bombay  Stock Exchange has started dealing with demat scrips  in the  trading ring. For this,  we have developed software  and implemented the same at BOI ShareHolding Limited. The package also enables the brokers to  deal in any form of transactions, viz., physical or demat.

Bad Delivery Monitoring System
This package is scheduled to control the bad deliveries made during the  trade deliveries by the clearing members. The system consists of four modules. The system provides for a member module,  which  checks the bad deliveries  at  the member end itself. Further, the system goes to identify the client introducing the bad deliveries  and gives cautions to all other members on the client. In addition to the intra-exchange bad  deliveries, the system also handles inter-exchange bad deliveries. The package is currently implemented in the Bad Deliveries Cell of Mumbai Stock Exchange.

CDSL DP Back Office System
This  system  is  developed  to  facilitate  the  Depository   Participants  (DP) of Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL) to manage  their depository  operations.  All kinds of beneficiary owner accounts are covered in the system. Charges as per the convenience of  the  DPs  can  also  be  accommodated  in the  same system, without any additional functionality.  If  needed,  linking  this  system to the existing accounting system of the DPs can be incorporated  without  any  difficulty. Reporting system covers a wide range of requirements. This  system  is  developed  using  .NET  technology  as front  end and MS-SQL Server as back-end.

BOI Share Holding is the  ClearingHouse  for Mumbai Stock Exchange  floated by Bank of India and Bombay Stock Exchange. STATMAN - Stationary Management System
This  package  manages  the  centralized  distribution  system  of  stationery  items in a commercial  organization.  Primary  functions  include  purchase management, inventory management  and  distribution  as  per  indents  received  are the main functions of the software. The   software  is   especially  useful  in  tracking  security  items  like  check books. It is currently implemented at the Central Stationery Management Department of Bank Of India, Mumbai.

OASys - Office Administration System
This  package  maintains  details  of  the  various administrative tasks such as vehicles, telephones, etc. given to the executives  and  monitors the expenses incurred. Further, it also takes care of the executives' travel bills, including sanctioning as per limits. It is currently operational in Dena Bank and Bank of Baroda (India).

Migration of Payroll Application
Migration  of  Payroll  Application  from  Progress environment  to IBM  Mainframe. Entire project  cycle was  executed  partly  onsite and  partly  offshore. This project  required expertise in Progress suite of products as well as COBOL for MVS and DB2.
