Solution: The Transport Brokering System is a B2B portal for the transport industry. Its purpose is to provide a medium for contact and communication between transport service providers and customers seeking such services. The solution is offered as a subscription service to transport industry service providers, customers and brokers. The solution provides facilities such as chat, e-mail to enhance communication between users. It integrates with third party transport software such as PC Miler to provide map and routing information to users. This was the first software development project by the Client company to be outsourced to India. Needless to say, they contacted numerous companies in India regarding their requirements and carefully evaluated every one of them on a whole range of criteria before deciding on CIL Technosoft.

Client: Ellianz, USA

Solution: Ellianz.com is a B2B portal which acts as a medium for companies seeking partners and strategic alliances globally. It enables companies to identify a large number of partners, qualify these partners and quickly consummate their relationship. The solution provides its users with several facilities such as multiple anonymous/target profiles, questionnaires, e-mail engine, automatic search and email collation, chat, video conferencing.

Inventory & Purchase Order System (InPOS)

Client: Precision Electricals, India
Technology: Microsoft Visual Basic, SQL Server 7.0, Crystal Reports
Platform: Windows NT Server
Solution: Precision Electricals manufactures and markets electrical switches and accessories and is one of India’s most recognizable brands in this industry. InPOS is client/server solution which enables them to monitor and optimize inventory levels and purchases of parts and raw materials for their manufacturing facility. The extensive reporting structure provides the management with real time information about their supply-chain to improve efficiency and facilitate better decision making.

Deposit Accounting Management System

Client: Union Bank of India
Technology: Microsoft Visual Basic, SQL Server 7.0

Solution: Banks float different deposit schemes to cater to the general public needs and changing market situations. These schemes have benefits and rules attached as per the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). DAMS is a solution that enables a bank to take care of their term deposit schemes. Functionality of the package includes Floating of New Deposit Scheme, Maintenance of Client Information, Accounting Operations, Interest Calculations, Tax Deduction at source as per given parameters, Closure of Accounts, Renewal of Accounts, Transfer of Accounts, Lien Noting and Cancellation etc. The solution is currently running live in over 500 branches of the Union Bank of India.

Balance Sheet Package

Client: Dena Bank, India
Technology: PowerBuilder, Sybase
Platform: Windows NT Server
Solution: This package helps banks in India in consolidating the balance sheet details received from various branches and administrative offices bi-annually on 31st March and 30th September. Critical decisions as to provision for bad debts, profitability figures, and investment patterns are taken based on the balance sheet figures. The software provides a support system through amalgamation of branch figures and generating reports on various parameters. Changes made in the figures based on auditor’s requirements and other specifications of the Bank are monitored and kept up as an audit trail. The solution is currently running live in the Accounts Department of the Corporate Headquarters of Dena Bank, Mumbai (India).
